GUBITZ EAST COAST TRAVELS 2026!

The day started with a relaxing coffee and stroll to the harbor before heading out to evaluate the Local Wine Country.  Two Fun Facts: 1. The longest interstate in the US is not I 80, which goes from San Francisco to New York and covers 2900 miles.  It's actually I 90, from Boston to Seattle and spans 3100 miles. And wouldn't you know that I 90 runs right through Conneaut,  Ohio.  But that's not all. 2. The longest road in the US goes even further than I 90! It's US Route 20 at a whopping 3,365 miles from Boston to Newport, Oregon. And, it also runs right through Conneaut. Had we come straight home,  a mere 38 hours, and bam, Granite Bay. Thankfully, we chose to stop at our dear friends and next door neighbors for 15 years, Bill and Pat Gross. They live directly on Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio.  Getting there from Elverson took about 7 hours and Peggy googled a great deli. Turned out to be a 4.8 on Yelp and had delicious sandwiches!  we It's important for you to know, I NEVER go back while I'm driving.  If I pass a flowing stream of pure gold, and it's behind me, oh well, God wants the next person behind me to have it.
